THE STUDIO

In 2015, Noel saw an opportunity to create a new studio and moved seven minutes to the east, just a few blocks from the Oakland base of the Bay Bridge. The new site is a 1930s, two-story brick building in the heart of the industrial neighborhood being adopted and renovated by Bay Area artists, just over the West Oakland border in Emeryville.

The new location is drawing attention as an emerging foodie presence, with hot new restaurants, up-and-coming chefs and easy access to a wide range of the freshest foods needed for shoots. Pluses for clients include fenced-in parking adjacent to the building, nearby hotels - from luxury big names to charming boutiques, and easy freeway access, to name a few.

The new shooting bay is surrounded by windows on three sides for increased lighting opportunities. Studio facilities include two commercial kitchens; client work, meeting and lounge areas; an extensive prop collection; and a dedicated video production studio.

Noel’s crew is a talented team of in-house producers, a studio manager, digital technicians and photo assistants, and he partners with experienced food stylists, prop stylists and production specialists as required for a particular job. Noel is especially proud of the Studio Gallery that showcases work of the talented photographers who assist him.
